OEL brand (a patnership between Greek producer and German food lovers) stands for one hundred percent pure and self-produced extra virgin organic Koroneiki olive oil. Self-produced means that the organic Koroneiki olives that are used grow and flourish exclusively on their own organic certified trees on their own land in Meligalas, Kalamata, Messenia, Greece, and that they are harvested by hand in a gentle manner and, within a few hours, by means of cold extraction Oil processed and bottled.
The oil of the small green Koroneiki olive is considered to be one of the best in Greece and the world both in terms of taste and in terms of ingredients. The dominance of the Koroneiki olive and the preference of the people can be recognized very well by the clear proportion of approx. 60% of 100% of all olive varieties in Greece. The organic Koroneiki olives from OEL complete the path from the tree into the canister and from Meligalas to Berlin once a year, starting with the harvest in November.
